I can’t believe I have wasted my time for one week here already. It appeared that my wake up time has slightly shifted one hour each day. It was almost 6 this morning.

Telling my self I’m gonna be okay during my stretch out exercise

Asked if I’m ok, well I guess I’m sort of alright. I felt a bit useless and purposeless though without goals to achieve during this period. I killed my time this morning by completing a “consent” training from my university. I found it useless. It was very conceptual, telling you some generic stuff that you already know you shouldn’t be doing. In the afternoon, I had a call with my family for the first since arrived here. We have a video call for about 45 minutes to catch up mainly about my well-beings. I miss them already.

Good thing about today was the food. Why did I enjoy today’s food so much? Such a glutton. Again, it’s all day vegan dude. It started with Poha (Nutritious Indian breakfast with onions, potatoes, tempered flake rice, peas and coriander). Despite a bit oily in the bottom, I really like it. Gotta note it down in case I want to re-visit this kind of delicacy. Lunch wasn’t bad as well. The Roasted Plum Tomato and Basil Soup was delicious. I finished the whole bowl. The Onion Bajiya wrap was also tasty as well. Its fillings include Spinach, mango chutney, and red onion. I ended my day with Asian style dinner Sweet & Sour vegetable stir fry. The highlight was the Hakka Noodles, I’d say. It brought me nostalgic sense of Asian taste. I probably have eaten a bit too much lately. Probably more than calories I spend during the day. I have been bedridden and sedentary. Calories used is likely to be less than 500.

Tomorrow is another judgement day — day 8. I will have to conduct another self-COVID test. I hope that It will be smoother without a problem. If the result is negative, that’s great and that’s what we aim for. If the result is positive, my life will be fucked up and there’s no one to blame but the hotel (I must have contracted from here in this scenario). If the result is invalid, my life will be fucked up as well because I’ll probably have to do another test, causing a delay of my departure from this feel-like-hell managed facility. Crossed fingers for tomorrow!
